Day three at the bridge.

Its full speed ahead at the bridge this morning and its amazing whats been achieved in three days.
It looks as if they're re-shaping the true left bank using material excavated from the island.
The temporary gravel dam has slowed the flows directly below the bridge and at present it looks more like a small lake than a river. Eventually when the new channel has been created this dam will be opened up allowing the river to do its own thing.
It'll be interesting to see how it all pans out. One things for sure there will be some new water to explore both here and further down.
