Tongariro Update Thu 12th September, 2013
After a night of torrential rain the Tongariro peaked at around 250 cumecs. By 10.30 am it had dropped to 190 cumecs and levels will continue to fall quickly if it doesn't rain. Once its fish-able there will be some excellent sport as trout mop up the nymphs and larvae dislodged from their hiding places on the river bed ... get up here.
